The NEMO PLACET OMNIBUS project is a small knit design collection that draws inspiration from the Vienna Secession and Art Nouveau tiles, specifically intricate floral motifs. The designs will incorporate various techniques such as fair isle, tuck patterns, intarsia, lace knitting, short rows, and crocheting. All pieces are made on a domestic knitting machine. The collection aims to create unique and innovative designs, while staying true to the project's philosophy that you can’t be everybody’s darling. The name adds a philosophical element to the project, emphasizing the importance of artistic vision and individuality. Overall, the collection seeks to create knitwear pieces that stand out for their creativity and originality but are still functional.
